A single shareholder

FagorBrandt is an entity of the Spanish Mondragón cooperative, established 50 years ago. Mondragón cooperative is the sole shareholder in FagorBrandt. Today the Fagor Group is the only Spanish multinational in domestic household appliances.

The acquisition of Brandt enabled Fagor to expand its industrial expertise and become Europe's 5th largest manufacturer.

The Fagor Group is ranked N° 1 in France (with an 17% market share in value) and Spain (18.3%) in 2008.

The Group reported an estimated turnover of €1.630 billion in 2008, with more than 9,860 people employed worldwide at 19 production sites in 6 countries (Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Morocco, China).

The Fagor Group is a Mondragón cooperative company (employing 92 800 people, from 270 companies and with a turnover of around €16,8 billion in 2008).

Mondragón cooperative is divided into three areas of activity: distribution, banking and industry. Fagor is the largest industrial entity.
