The Fagor Group became the sole shareholder in FagorBrandt thus creating the 5th largest European household appliance Group.

The Group saw instantly that its involvement and expertise in the household appliance industry offered enormous potential synergies in purchasing, branding, and Research & Development.

The Group's acquisition was focused on achieving a quick success.
