The Fagor Group

The Fagor Group is a member of the Mondragón Group, the world's largest cooperative.

Established in 1956, Mondragón Group is a Basque cooperative society that today represents 270 companies including the Fagor Group, which is the single largest firm. Mondragón Group is the world's largest cooperative society and the 7th largest Spanish industrial group.

Mondragón Group's has clear objectives: to be competitive and perform well on international markets while maintaining its cooperative spirit.

Mondragón Group is divided into three areas of activity: industry, distribution and banking. Today it employs 85 117 people. Its 2009 turnover is estimated at around €13.853 billion.
